Sara, the math wiz
Sara must get her talent in math from her daddy because I really don't care for the subject. She loves it. I am so glad to see her confidence build as she learns more and more.

Geez! I forgot some of the coolest new news...
How could I have forgotten to give some of the biggest news of all! Marty's oldest daughter, Jenny, had her baby! Allison Rose Hayes. It was a difficult labor and there were some complications after the birth. Allison needed to have surgery but is now home and recovering well. Both mommy and baby are fine. We are all thrilled to have this new addition to the family.
The other super cool news is that Marty's second oldest daughter, Nickie, got engaged to her long time love, Sean. She is adorable as she is starry eyed and planning her wedding for next fall. Happy happy news!
Three sides of Chica
Sara had an assignment to draw an object from three sides. She chose a special stuffed animal. This is her horse, Chica, that her daddy gave to her years ago.
How Piero sees himself
I think Piero's self portrait is a little self agrandising, but that's ok! No self esteme issues here. Hahaha.
Skullman Vs. Snakefang
Here is Piero's first comic strip. One thing he aspires to be when he grows up is a graphic novelist (among other things).
New Year Update!
We are back to school and loving it. The kids are enjoying their lessons. Piero's favorite classes are phonics, history, art and sometimes science. He isn't crazy about math, but he actually doesn't do bad at it. He loves to say "I am so smart!" I'll add some of the kids' artwork. Sara's favorite classes are math, history, art and sometimes science. Sara's reading is really improving. Right now she is reading The Jungle Book. America likes when we do history, language arts, and art because that's when she gets to participate the most. America attended primary for the first time. She was the loudest little Sunbeam. One of the teachers finally figured out the magic.... she had a Barbie doll in her bag and let America hold it during class. It changed everything. Let's hope this next Sunday is better.
